#Artist Edition 2025

Capsule collection in collaboration with artist Tina Konec

Fashion and art have always been closely intertwined through creativity, identity and the spirit of the times.

The collaboration of artists and fashion designers has become one of the most interesting and influential forms of creative dialogue in contemporary fashion. Borders are being erased, the street can become a gallery, the body or textiles an artistic field. Fashion today is no longer just an aesthetic expression, but an ethical and cultural manifesto that can combine beauty and sustainability in a variety of ways. Contemporary fashion today is very fast, global and universal.

Good fashion is above all sustainable, personal, special and small-scale.

I have admired the work of artist Tina Konec for a long time, so the first #Artist Edition collection was created in collaboration with her.

The limited series consists of thirty pieces of clothing, each numbered, following the model of the number of prints in classical graphic techniques. The motifs for the print are selected paintings by the artist Tina Konec, transferred and processed into a report for printing. In the pattern, all the dresses are the same, but in the result each one is slightly different and unique, because the pattern from Tina’s paintings does not settle down anywhere exactly the same. Each piece has its own special features and its own author’s signature.

The clothes appeal to us with simplicity, at the same time with artistic richness and visual complexity. They are universal pieces of clothing that can be placed in different contexts and situations or interpreted as wearable art or living/revived artistic paintings in a different medium.

The materials are natural and ecologically certified. The printing is digital, carried out locally and regionally with environmentally friendly processes. The pieces are made in Ljubljana, each individually. The series is limited to thirty garments.

#Artist Edition 2025 in collaboration with Tina Konec opens a new field of local fashion creativity, where intimacy, personal approach and specificity are at the forefront with an emphasis on quality, story, concept and sustainability. The placement in Sobba meaningfully and fruitfully upgrades the story of the collection in a space where fashion and art are placed in a curated atmosphere and dialogue with a top-notch architectural, design and content experience.
